Present: Chairman Dale Simonson, Members Roger Bean, Keith Korbein, Shannon Vogele, Paul Szymaszek, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Administrative Assistant Linda Salzwedel
Absent: Member George Vukich

The meeting was called to order at the town hall in the Town of Germantown at 5:30 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance
The pledge of allegiance was recited by all.

Possible approval of January 13, 2016 meeting minutes
A motion was made by Roger Bean, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve the minutes from January 13, 2016 planning commission meetings. Motion carried, 5-0.

Discussion and possible approval of application for a zoning variance for a sideline setback.
Not discussed – now being handled by Board of Appeals

Further discussion and possible approval of changes to Ordinance 23 – Signs
The Sign Ordinance was gone through paragraph by paragraph. Administrative Assistant Linda Salzwedel will type up all the changes with cross-outs for what is to be removed, and bolded new text, so that it can be reviewed at the next meeting.

Discussion and possible changes to Ordinance 26 – Formation of Parks Committee
The ordinance was gone through and changes were made to make wording more consistent and up to date, and to remove unnecessary wording.

Member comments
It was discussed that the Planning Commission may possibly change the regular meeting day. To be discussed further at the next meeting.

Next month all the ordinances relating to the lakes will be reviewed, as well as a few others to be named.

SoCore will be on the agenda for the next meeting to move forward on the Solar project.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Shannon Vogele, to adjourn at 6:20 p.m. Motion carried 4-0.
