Present: Chairman Rosetta Boyle, Supervisors Jim Collis, Ray Feldman, Dale Simonson, Assistant EM Director Bill Bruce, Zoning Administrator, Dick Martin, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Town Officer Cameron McChesney

Absent: Supervisor Gregg Haunroth, EM Director Fred Cobbs

A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to accept the minutes from May’s meeting. Motion carried.

Reconciliation
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to accept the Treasurer’s report and bank reconciliation. Motion carried.

Vouchers
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to accept vouchers and checks 24074, and 24076-25101 totaling $94,446.76 and EFTs totaling $8,153.34.

Proclamation
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to accept changes to the Disaster Proclamation including adopting the I.C.S. under State Statute 323.15. Motion carried.

Liquor License Approval
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Dale Simonson, to approve Class B Combination Liquor Licenses for the following: Cutler Amusements (Kozy’s), Pine Cover Bar and Grill, JJM Corp of Mauston (Buckhorn Café), The Dirty Turtle, Portofino Bay, C&B Investments (Shipwreck), James Collis (Buckhorn Store). Motion carried with Supervisor Collis abstaining.

A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve Class A Combination Liquor Licenses for the following: Horst Hartmann (Bavarian Campground), Wendy Navis (The Landing). Motion carried with Supervisor Collis abstaining.

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Dale Simonson, to approve Class B Beer and Class C Wine licenses for the following:
Donna Case (Fresh and Frozen). Motion carried with Supervisor Collis abstaining.

Operator’s Licenses
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Dale Simonson, to approve Operator’s Licenses for the following:

Motion carried with Supervisor Collis abstaining.

Waterfest
A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Jim Collis, to approve the application by the Waterfest Committee for fireworks. Motion carried with the license fee waived as a donation to the event.

Line of Succession
The item was tabled until a future date.

Emergency Management
A tabletop exercise was held at the Kalahari and attended by Bill Bruce, Jim Collis, Ray Feldman and Susan Ganther.

A meeting was held in conjunction with the DNR to begin formulating a new Wildfire Protection Plan.

A meeting was held with the County regarding WISCOM. Some of our radios may need updating.

From January 1 until May 1 there were 214 calls for police assistance in the Town of Germantown.

Roads
Summer road projects have been completed.

Dick Martin will look into dealing with road problems in Castle Rock Estates.

A quote was received for a grapple to help with brush removal. The cost was $7,500 and will be considered in the fall when the budget is prepared.

Board Reports
No report.

Zoning/Building Permits
9 permits issued, 1 for a new house, $820 in fees collected

Public Comment
Skip Barton stated he believes that the purchase of a grapple would be a good investment.

Closed Session
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to move into closed session per state statutes 19.85(1)(c) and 19.85 (1)(g). A roll call vote was taken. Boyle – Y, Simonson – Y, Collis – Y, Feldman – Y Motion carried.

A motion was made by Rosetta Boyle, seconded by Dale Simonson, to move into open session per state statute 19.85(2). A roll call vote was taken. Boyle – Y, Simonson – Y, Collis – Y, Feldman – Y Motion carried.

A motion was made by Rosetta Boyle, seconded by Jim Collis, to rescind Resolution 2009-07. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Jim Collis, to terminate Marion Uphoff as Assistant Clerk/Treasurer effective June 11, at 8:00 a.m. Motion carried.
