Present:  Supervisors Jim Collis, Ray Feldman, Dale Simonson, Skip Barton, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs, Clerk Treasurer Susan Ganther, Administrative Assistant Linda Salzwedel

Absent:  Chairman Gregg Haunroth

The meeting was called to order at 5:12 at the Germantown Town Hall.

Minutes
A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the minutes from the October 13, 2015 meeting.  Motion carried 4-0.

Reconciliation/Treasurer’s Report
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to accept the Treasurer’s report and bank reconciliation.  Motion carried 4-0.

Operator’s License
A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve an Operator’s License for Tracy Raap.  Motion carried 3-0 with 1 abstaining.

Island Lake
A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Skip Barton, at the recommendation of the Planning Commission, to approve the plat of Island Lake.  Motion carried 4-0.

Resolution 2015-9 Designating Official Newspaper
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson to make the Juneau County Star Times the official newspaper for the Town of Germantown.  Motion carried 4-0.

Ordinance 18 to Control Hand Guns in Public Buildings in the Town of Germantown
A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve adding “In possession of a Wisconsin Concealed carry permits issued under state statute 175.60 or an out of state concealed carry permit that is recognized by the State of Wisconsin. to Section II of the ordinance.  Motion carried 4-0.

Ordinance 24 Recycling
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the rescinding of Ordinance 24 due to the inability to enforce it.  Motion carried 4-0.

Resolution 2015-7
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve and updated fee schedule dated November 10, 2015.  Motion carried 4-0.

Cooperation with the County Land Information Office
The board discussed the County’s desire to work on eliminating duplicate road names, roads that change names when they cross over to a different township, and duplicate house numbers.  This will help emergency services when responding to calls.

Public Safety
There were 9 ambulance calls and 61 police calls in October.   Radios were move between trucks and tractors.  Dry hydrant installation is moving forward.  A meeting with the New Lisbon Fire Chief is upcoming.

Roads
The road work in Castle Rock Estates in completed for this year.

The County Safety Committee met and the State of Wisconsin is looking at making changes to the intersection of Hwy 58 and Hwy G by Cedar Springs.  With many business entrances, along with the meeting of Hwy. 58 and Cty. G it is an area with a high rate of accidents.

Zoning
10 permits were issued in October.  5 were for new houses.  There have been permits for 35 new houses this year through October.

A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Jim Collis, to adjourn at 5:45 p.m.  Motion carried 4-0.
