Present: Supervisors Gregg Haunroth, Dale Simonson, Ray Feldman, and Jim Collis, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther
Absent: Town Chairman Rosetta Boyle

The meeting was called to order in the Town of Germantown at 6:00 p.m.

Minutes
A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to approve the minutes from October’s meetings.  Motion carried 4-0.

Treasurer’s Report
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Dale Simonson to approve the Treasurer’s Report.  Motion carried 4-0.

Vouchers
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Dale Simonson, to approve checks 25394 to 25451 totaling 52,022.60.  Motion carried 4-0.

Ordinance 38
A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve Ordinance 38 Regulating Fireworks.  Discussion was had about waiting to see how the county handles their fireworks ordinance which they are working on at present time.  A motion was made to withdraw the original motion.  That motion carried 4-0.

Ordinance 7
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Jim Collis, to approve Ordinance 7 Regulating the Use, Operation and Commercial Leasing of Snowmobiles in the Township of Germantown, Requiring Permit for Operation of Snowmobile Trails and Imposing Penalties after rewording “Juneau County Police Department” to “Juneau County Sheriff’s Department”.  Motion carried 4-0.

Insurance Agents
Presentations were made by representatives from Westland Insurance and Hoffmeister Insurance.  Explanations were given on the coverages being offered.

Emergency Management
In October there were 62 police calls, 5 ambulance calls, and 2 fire calls.  A representative will be at the upcoming Mauston Area Ambulance Association meeting.  There will be a meeting regarding the Community Wildfire Protection Program on November 13.  Municipal court income year to date is $2,436.69.

Roads
Salt is being delivered next week.

Zoning
13 permits were issued in October.  10 permits were for new houses.  Total value of permits was 2.1 million dollars.

Public Comment
The board was asked to post the ordinances on the website.  It was stated that as the ordinances are updated the newest version will be placed on the website.

It was asked if a budget hearing has been scheduled yet.  It was stated that budget preparation was under way and that a hearing would be scheduled soon.

A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson, to adjourn at 6:55 p.m.  Motion carried 4-0.
