Present:  Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Skip Barton, Ray Feldman, Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther
Absent:  None

Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at the town hall at 6:00 p.m.

Department of Transportation
The representative did not attend.

Resolution 2017-6 Appointing and Expanding the Sanitary District Board
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Ken Jax, to approve Resolution 2017-6, Appointing and Expanding the Sanitary District Board, as read. Discussion included the Town Board, the Town’s legal representative and the Sanitary District’s legal representative.  A roll call vote was taken:  Korbein – Y, Barton – Y, Jax – Y, Haunroth – Y, Feldman – Abstained.  Motion carried.

Minutes
A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Keith Korbein to accept the minutes from September’s meeting.  Motion carried 5-0.

Bank Reconciliation/Financial Report
A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Keith Korbein, to accept the bank reconciliation/financial report.  Motion carried 5-0.

Checks
A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve checks 10367-10402 totaling $28,442.54 and EFTs totaling $4,539.55.  Motion carried 5-0.

Operator’s Licenses
None

Resolution 2017-4 Accepting Island Lake Roads
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Ken Jax, to approve Resolution 2017-4 Accepting Island Lake Roads.  Discussion included that the roads included are Island Lake Drive, Blue Water Circle, Northwater Circle, Lookout Point Court and White Sand Court.  Westwater Circle and Island Court are still gravel and will be completed and submitted to the town at a later date.  Motion carried 5-0.

Resolution 2017-5 Amending 2017 Budget
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve Resolution 2017-5 Amending the 2017 Budget.  Motion carried 5-0.

Emergency Management
September ambulance calls: 13, police calls: 54, fire calls: 0.

Fred Cobbs asked the board to consider budgeting for the moving of the parking lot lights to accommodate a helicopter landing pad for emergency services.

Roads
Work on the summer road projects has been completed.

Work was done in 3 Rivers and Evergreen Estates to patch dips in the roads.  The roads will be monitored over the winter and spring to see if it is successful before doing the same type of work on other roads.

Parks
No Report

Board Reports
Ray Feldman: Questioned whether Mauston Ambulance has begun to collect on bad debt.  A meeting will be scheduled between Mauston Ambulance and their billing company, and Ray Feldman.

Gregg Haunroth: Reported that legal documents are being prepared to finalize the Buckhorn Acres road project.

Keith Korbein: Attended the Wisconsin  Town’s Association Convention.  He will be preparing a summary of information on what was covered and give it to the board and staff.

Zoning/Building Permits
Eleven permits were issued in September.  10 were for new houses.  There have been permits for 36 new houses in 2017.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to adjourn at 6:27 p.m.  Motion carried 5-0.
