Present: Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Skip Barton, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Assistant Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 at the town hall.
Park Bid Acceptance
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Ken Jax, seconded by Ray Feldman, to accept the bid from Olympic Builders in the amount of $832,778.75 with the option to move forward or decline revisions to the existing pavilion and bathrooms. A roll call vote was taken: Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 5-0.
Sheriff’s Department
Captain Pedersen spoke with board on potential start and end dates of Deputy Morris. The Department has continued with UTV/ATV training, and this will be heavily enforced.
ARPA Funds
A status report for year end 2021 is due at the end of April 2022. The board will continue to explore the best way to utilize the funds.
Minutes
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the minutes from March’s meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
Bank Reconciliation and Treasurer’s Report
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the Treasurer’s Report and Bank Reconciliation. Motion carried 5-0.
Checks/Vouchers
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve checks 13049-13106 totaling $39,818.64 checks 5008-5010 totaling $1,351.25, and checks 5007-5009 $1,351.25 and EFTs totaling $5,906.39. Motion carried 5-0.
Operator’s Licenses
None
Website
The website has had stability issues. We are currently using a free version and suspect the problems are being created by the web host to force free users to a paid version. Our IT provider suggests switching to web hosting which will be at a cost of $150 per month.
A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Keith Korbein, to move web hosting to 411 IT group for management. Motion carried 5-0.
It was noted by Gregg Haunroth that IT services should be periodically bid like insurance coverage.
Emergency Management
Mauston Ambulance has employees coming off long-term medical leave and has one position open for hire. There have been four applicants.
Roads
Seal coating prices have increase about $5,000 per mile. There will likely be a reduction in the work originally planned for this year.
New truck has been ordered. No timeframe for its completion.
Zoning/Building Permits
19 permits issued in March. 16 were for new homes.
Park/Hall
No report.
Board Reports
Ken Jax – UWM students working on UniverCity Year project will have a report via Zoom at the May meeting with a written report to follow.
Gregg Haunroth – There were 2 people that expressed interest in the open position with the Sanitary District 2 board. An appointment will likely be made at the May meeting.

As a part of closed session, the board acknowledged the resignation of Emergency Management Director, Fred Cobbs. Assistant Emergency Management Director, Christopher Leopold, will serve in Fred’s place until an appointment is made.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton to adjourn at 7:10 p.m. Motion carried 5-0.
