Addition to Summer Hideaway RV Campground
Owner Jim Lewis described the addition that is planned for Summer Hideaway RV Campground. He says they purchased land adjacent to them and are requesting a zoning change for that property from Ag to Commercial. They are adding 70 sites, and there will be 1 septic for every 20 sites. All will have full hookups to water & light. They are also adding a combination bathhouse and pavilion, a children’s playground, and horseshoe pits. They would like to begin construction in the fall of 2016 with the intent of campers occupying the new sites in the spring of 2017.

Brad Pavloski and Chris Renner showed the new map for the revised PUD. The cul-de-sacs are bigger, they have added a snowmobile trail and walking path. Other details were discussed. Town Engineer Larry Koopman said he looked at other similar PUD’s and compared. He said the drainage plans looked like they will work well, and that there are plans in place for maintaining water quality in the lakes.
