Planning Commission Meeting Minutes as corrected

May 20, 2025

Present: Commission Chairperson Keith Korbein, Commissioners Gervase Thompson, Tamaya Loewe, Mick McCormick, and Mike Edwards; Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

Absent:  Zoning Administrator Dick Martin

Also Present:    OneEnergy manager/developer Stanley Minnick, along with helpers Eric and Chelsey, property owner Brad Pavloski (owner of the property where proposed solar project may go), Oakdale Electric Cooperative General Manger & CEO Chris Jackman, and 4 public guests

–Call to Order

The Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairperson Keith Korbein at the Germantown Town Hall at 6:25pm.

–Pledge of Allegiance

–Possible approval of meeting minutes

Mike Edwards made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 22, 2025 Public Hearing and the April 22, 2025 Planning Commission meeting, seconded by Mick McCormick; motion passed 5/0.   

–Discussion and possible approval of rezoning of Parcel #290120363 for OneEnergy

Gervase Thompson made a motion, seconded by Mike Edwards, to approve the rezoning of parcel #290120363 for OneEnergy; motion passed 5/0.

–Discussion and possible approval of a conditional use permit for OneEnergy for a solar farm

Mike Edwards made a motion, seconded by Tamay Loewe, to approve a conditional use permit for OneEnergy for a solar farm, pending approval of the rezoning by the Town Board; motion passed 5/0.

–Work Session continued on Short Term Rentals

     and

–Work Session continued on Short Term Rentals  Room Tax

Discussion for both was on enforcement.

–June meeting

The date will be June 17, 2025, starting at 5:30pm.

–Adjourn

Gervase Thompson made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Keith Korbein; motion passed 5/0.
