Planning Commission Meeting Minutes

July 15, 2025

Present: Commission Chairperson Keith Korbein, Commissioners Gervase Thompson, Tamaya Loewe, Mick McCormick, Mike Edwards; Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein 

Absent:  Zoning Administrator Dick Martin

Also Present:    Chris Renner, Brad Pavloski from developer CR58 Land Investments LLC,

and members of the public: Mark Loewe, Luke Bacher

–Call to Order

The Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairperson Keith Korbein at the Germantown Town Hall at 5:30pm.

–Pledge of Allegiance

–Possible approval of meeting minutes

Mick McCormick made a motion to approve the minutes of the June 17, 2025 Planning Commission meeting, seconded by Tamaya Loewe; motion passed 5/0.   

–Discussion and Possible Approval of the final PUD plan for Barefoot PUD#17

One suggestion was to gate access to the gravel roads to keep ATVs/UTVs out.  It was confirmed that this development is now called Barefoot PUD #17.

Gervase Thompson made a motion to approve the Barefoot PUD #17 as presented and forward same to the Town Board, seconded by Mike Edwards; motion passed 4/1. 

–Work Session continued on Short Term Rentals

And

–Work Session continued on Room Tax

Discussed and adjusted a revised STR ordinance copy that was much simpler than previously worked on but still incorporates some good ideas from Town of Rome’s STR ordinance. Members reviewed and revised about half of the pages.  (Room Tax and associated forms for either were not worked on this evening.)

–August meeting

The date will be August 19, 2025, starting at 5:30pm.

Gervase Thompson made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Tamaya Loewe; motion passed 5/0.
