Regular Meeting Minutes
September 9, 2025
Present: Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Tamaya Loewe, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein, Public Works Director Craig Cox
Absent: Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. at the town hall.
Verification of Posting
Agendas were posted my Michaele Korbein
Minutes
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Tamaya Loewe, to approve the August meeting minutes. Motion carried 5-0.
Bank Reconciliation
The bank reconciliation was read and placed on file for audit
Checks
A motion was made by Tamaya Loewe, seconded by Keith Korbein to approve general fund checks 14884-14933 totaling $214,674.93, municipal court check 2020 totaling $266.00, and EFTs totaling $6,786.14. Motion carried 5-0.
Furnace/Air Conditioner Quotes
A donation offer of newer used commercial air conditioning units was offered by Sandra Henneman and quotes from BTU and Boulder Services were reviewed. A motion was made by Tamaya Loewe, seconded by Ken Jax, to have BTU assess the units available for donation, if the units are usable to then have the project rebid excluding the cost of the units, and if the donated units are unusable, to accept the quote from BTU as presented. A roll call vote was taken: Loewe – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 5-0.
Liquor Licenses
A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve licenses for Countryside Resorts d/b/a Relaxin’ Cabins. Motion carried 5-0.
Operator’s License
A motion was made by Tamaya Loewe, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve an operator’s license for Rashid Bhutta. Motion carried 5-0.
Emergency Management
Christopher Leopold was at training at the time of the meeting. He provided a report that the newly constructed helicopter pad has been accepted by the medical services who will use it pending the removal of some trees.
Christopher will be participating in several upcoming training opportunities.
Roads
Mowing continues.
Zoning
17 permits were issued in August. 11 were for new homes.

Board Reports
Ray Feldman – Ray mentioned a cyber-attack in Iowa County and the long-term ramifications. Gregg Haunroth mentioned at he recently worked with the Town’s IT provider to confirm everything that can be done is being done to protect the Town of Germantown.
