Planning Commission Present:   Commission Chair Shannon Armel, Commissioners Ken Jax, Keith Korbein, Mick McCormick, Mick McCormick

Town Board Present:      Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Jim Collis, Ken Jax, Keith Korbein

Also Present:     Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

Absent:                Supervisor Ray Feldman

-Call to Order

Chairperson Shannon Armel called the meeting of the Planning Commission and the Town Board to order at the Germantown Town Hall at 5:52pm.   The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

-Discussion and possible approval of meeting minutes

Ken Jax mad a motion, seconded by Mick McCormick, to approve the minutes of the July 20, 2022 public hearing, the July 20, 2022 Planning Commission meeting, and the June 8, 2022 Planning Commission meeting as written.  Motion passed 5-0.

–Discussion and possible approval and recommendation by the Planning Commission to the Town Board for a Petition to Re-zone two parcels of land to Commercial for the Buckhorn Campground and RV Resort located at N8410 County Road G, Necedah, WI

One comment expressed disappointment in just now seeing the plans and permit requests for this project after it has progresses this far, instead of getting this paperwork before the project was started.  Jim Miller stated it was his fault as he did not know his contractor did not contact the Town to follow through with the permitting process.

As noted in the public hearing, only parcel 2 is the parcel requested to be rezoned as the other is already re-zoned Commercial.

Keith Korbein made a motion to approve and recommend approval to the Town Board the rezoning of Parcel 2 to Commercial for the Buckhorn Campground and RV Resort located at N8410 County Road G, Necedah, WI, seconded by Ken Jax. Motion passed 5/0 by roll call vote of the Planning Commission Members.

-Discussion and possible approval by the Town Board for a Petition to Re-zone two parcels of land to Commercial for the Buckhorn Campground and RV Resort located at N8410 County Road G, Necedah, WI

Again, this is only needed for Parcel 2.

Jim Collis made a motion to approve the rezoning to Commercial of Parcel 2 for the Buckhorn Campground and RV Resort located at N8410 County Road G, Necedah, WI, seconded by Keith Korbein.  Motion passed 4/0 by roll call vote of the Town Board.

-Discussion and possible approval by the Planning Commission of a Conditional Use permit for expansion of the Buckhorn Campground and RV Resort located at N8410 County Road G, Necedah, WI

Question if the five pages in the ordinance for Conditional Use were reviewed and approved; Dick Martin said he did and that he verbally reported it.  

Jim Miller noted that the neighbors to the project were notified.

Ken Jax made a motion to approve the Conditional Use permit for expansion of the Buckhorn Campground and RV Resort located at N8410 County Road G, Necedah, WI, seconded by Keith Korbein.  Motion passed 5/0 by roll call vote of the Planning Commission.

-Adjourn.

Keith Korbein made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Gervase Thompson. Motion passed 9-0.

Meeting adjourned at 6:02pm.
