Call to Order

The work session meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. at the town hall to discuss and finalize details of a potential ordinance regarding  Mobile Home Parks.

Verification of Posting

The agenda was posted at the three public places and on the town’s website.

Discussion.

-Using the basic ‘boiler plate’ ordinance is the simplest. It does not affect motor homes on private land.

-Tentative list of areas that would be affected by an ordinance include:  Little Pines Mobile Home Park, Sandstone Recreational Park, Pine Cove Campground, Summer Hideaway RV Campground Resort, and Buckhorn Campground & Resort. Maintain a list to include park capacity, owner names and addresses.

-The assessor would still determine assessments to provide to the clerk.

-Proposed was the 2% that the property owner could keep for their office work, as well as the 10% administrative fee for the Town, like in the Town of Saratoga’s ordinance.

-Strike B pertaining to ‘camping unit’ Under Section V Definitions.

-Strike J6 as the temporary or seasonal habitation pertains to camping.

-Strike all of section VI as has to do with camping and being outside of a park.

-The blank in Section VII could say: for what is allowed including but not limited Little Pines Mobile Home Park, Sandstone Recreational Park, Pine Cove Campground, Summer Hideaway RV Campground Resort, and Buckhorn Campground & Resort.

-Under section VII C.1.  fees shall be collected by the 1st of each month and paid to the town clerk by the 10th of each month.

-The penalty provisions should be referred to the Fee Schedule.

-License could then expire when the liquor licenses expire -June 30 each year.

The work session was closed at 6:03pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Michaele Korbein,  Deputy Clerk/Treasurer
