Present: Commission Chair Shannon Armel, Commissioners: Keith Korbein, Tamaya Loewe, Gervase Thompson, Mick McCormick, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

–Call to Order

The Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairperson Shannon Armel at the Germantown Town Hall at 5:30pm.

–Pledge of Allegiance

–Possible approval of the Minutes from the November meeting.

Tamaya Loewe made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 8, 2023 Planning Commission Meeting as presented, seconded by Keith Korbein; motion passed 5/0.

–Discussion and possible approval of combining Ordinances 13,30,35,46,57 into a road ordinance

Since the November meeting, the company Delmar was contacted. They gave an estimate of $34,500 to do a traffic map -much more than was expected.  So, Shannon will contact Dick Martin to work on getting what is needed for it to save the cost.  That information could just be put on a very large map of the town.

On the tentative combined ordinance, Section 3.6 on Abandoned Vehicles is the same topic as 6.9 .  The information fits better in 6.9, so all Section 3.6 will be incorporated into 6.9 and then 3.6 would be removed.

–Discussion and possible approval of changes/updates to the fee schedule related to ordinances on Agenda

–Discussion and possible approval of Zoning Map

The tentative zoning map was reviewed and adjustments were noted to be made. However, to help define the map, a definition of Town Center needs to be added back into the Zoning Ordinance that was previously removed in July 2003.  Also, a section on the Recreational District may need to be added back to the Zoning Ordinance that was removed in January 2013.  Both will be reviewed further for future consideration.

 –Adjourn.

Next meeting date to be January 10, 2023 at 5:30pm.  Keith Korbein made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Mick McCormick; motion passed 5/0.  Meeting adjourned at 7:17pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Michaele R. Korbein

Deputy Clerk/Treasurer
