June 11, 2026

Present: Commission Chairperson Keith Korbein, Commissioners, Tamaya Loewe, Mike Edwards, Joe Witmer, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein 

Absent:  Zoning Administrator Dick Martin                                                       

Also present: Eva Havill and Eden Spinelli of Castle Rock Services LLC;  Luke Bacher 

Keith Korbein opened the public hearing at 5:30pm to hear public comments on an application from Castle Rock Services LLC. for a conditional use permit for an outdoor bar to be used with home base of Modern Twist food truck to be used in conjunction with food truck during home base operating hours on property located on Parcel# 290121533.3 with an address of N6208 County Road G, Mauston, WI. 

Trailer is called Modern Twist. 

Will deck shown on the sketch be attached to trailer? Yes, but will stay behind when trailer leaves. 

Is signage planned?  Yes.  They will need to apply for their sign permits. 

Seating and/or game area was explained to be the grassy area in front of the food truck. 

How to keep minors separate?  They have a roped-off area, and bar/smoker is on the trailer. 

They noted they have licenses for the food truck that are in Eva Havill’s name for the business.

They said it will be a well-rounded venue to relax, maybe have a drink, and play games.

As noted, this application for a conditional use permit has nothing to do with granting any liquor licenses -that is a separate process.

Also noted was that any liquor license would be tied to the property, not the business.

After hearing no other public comments, the public hearing was closed at 5:45pm.
