Board of Review Minutes

June 5, 2023

 

The Board of Review was called into session at 4:00 p.m. on June 5, 2023, at the Town of Germantown town hall.

There was a rollcall of those in attendance:  Keith Korbein, Gregg Haunroth, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Susan Ganther. 

It was confirmed that meeting notices were placed on the town hall door, the three regular posting places, and the Town’s website.  

A motion was made by Gregg Haunroth, seconded by Ken Jax, to have Keith Korbein serve as Chairperson.  Motion carried 5-0.

It was verified that Keith Korbein met the mandatory training requirement.

According to Assessor Claude Riglemon, there were no new laws to review.

The Annual Assessment Report was filed.

The Assessment roll and sworn statement was received by the Clerk.

Proper reviews of the assessment roll and associated statutory duties were completed.

There were no errors to correct.

Open book changes will be provided by the Assessor after the Board of Review. 

There were no taxpayers present to examine the data, no notices of intent to file an objection, requests to testify by telephone, no objections to consider, or any other allowable/required Board of Review matters.

At 4:23 the recording was stopped as there were no further Board of Review matters to be completed.

At 6:00 p.m. the recording started again.

There are no further Board of Review dates required.

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Jim Collis to adjourn at 6:00 p.m.  Motion carried 5-0.
