Roads

Mowing and brushing being done.

Work will be done to extend sand pit access.

Paving in Sand Point was done at a less-than-optimal time causing the road to be unsatisfactory.  At this time the town will not accept that area as a town road.

Board Reports

Gregg Haunroth –         The Town is working with Carl Johnson (present) on ordinance violations at his property.

A complaint about chickens in the Park Place subdivision has been addressed and the property will be monitored for continued compliance.

There was a complaint from a title company about building permits not being posted on building sites.  This will be addressed.

Ray Feldman has retired from the County Board.  Gregg Haunroth will complete his term.

On November 20th the Wisconsin Towns Association meeting will be held at the town hall.

Ray Feldman –               Any extended closure of the brush dump over the winter should consider when things like ice storms cause damage and tree limbs would need to be disposed of.

Public Comment

Question – What happened with the offer of free a/c units?  Answer:  They were not in a condition to make that a wise decision to move forward with.

Question – Whatever became of having the County charge an additional $.50 per campsite rental at the county park to offset the town’s cost to provide fire and ambulance services since the county does not pay taxes?  Answer – The county refused this in the past.  It may have to be revisited.

Question – Were previously discussed fire service area maps received?  Answer – New Lisbon provided their map and it was added to their fire contract.  Christopher Leopold will provide a service map for the entire county.

Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 6:42 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
