2022 Board of Review Minutes

Call to Order
The Board of Review was called to order at 5:00 p.m. at the town hall.
Attendance Roll Call
Jim Collis, Keith Korbein, Gregg Haunroth, Ray Feldman, Susan Ganther, Michaele Korbein
Confirmation of Notices
It was confirmed that notices were posted and made available on the Town’s website.
Selection of Chairperson
A motion was made by Gregg Haunroth, seconded by Ray Feldman, to nominate Jim Collis as Chair and Keith Korbein as Vice Chair. Motion carried.
Training Verification
Jim Collis received the required training in June 2022.
Income and Expense Confidentiality Ordinance
The ordinance was passed in 2018.
New Laws
None to present.
Filing and Summary of Annual Assessment Report
The report was signed by Assessor Claude Riglemon.
Receipt of the Assessment Roll
The report was notarized by the Clerk.
Review of the Assessment Roll
The review was completed.
Certify Correction of Errors
The Assessor stated there were no errors.
Open Book Changes
The Assessor’s office will have the changes completed on November 18, 2022.

Considerations
Waiver of 48-hour notice of intent to file an objection – A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Gregg Haunroth to waive the 48-hour notice. Motion carried.

Objection by George Rosch
Hearing of Objection
George Rosch presented case. Assessor, Claude Riglemon, presented case. The Board of Review asked questions and then went into deliberations. The case was decided on and notice given to the objector.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Jim Collis, to close the Board of Review at 7:00 p.m. Motion carried.
