Present: Chairman Dale Simonson, Members Roger Bean, Keith Korbein, Shannon Vogele, Paul Szymaszek, George Vukich, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Administrative Assistant Linda Salzwedel
Absent: None
Also Present: Board Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Brad & Pat Povlovski, Chris Renner, Ken Jax and Scott Schrieber.

The meeting was called to order at the town hall in the Town of Germantown at 5:30 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance
The pledge of allegiance was recited by all.

Possible Approval of March 7, 2016 minutes
A motion was made by Paul Szymaszek, seconded by Shannon Vogele, to approve the minutes from March 7, 2016 Planning Commission meetings. Motion carried, 6-0.

Discussion of possible revised density of Sand Point PUD
Brad Pavloski started by saying he wanted to increase the density of Sand Point PUD. Handouts were passed out, and Brad Pavlosski & Chris Renner answered questions about it. Pat Pavloski pointed out areas on the map where they are starting, 2 entryways for heavy equipment (both on Germantown G), etc. He said Phase 1 will be the lower right corner of the PUD, then they will finish the lower center, then develop the lower left. The upper area will be out in the future some time. The density is changing from 300 to 465.

Roger Bean suggested that the Town Engineer should take a look before it goes any further. It was decided to send the engineer all the information and ask him to come to the next Planning Commission meeting.

A motion was made by Roger Bean, seconded by George Vukich, to postpone a vote on this until the town engineer can review. Motion carried, 6-0.

Discussion of possibly changing the regular meeting day for the Planning Commission
Planning Commission Dale Simonson announced that the regular meeting date for the Planning Commission will be changed to the Wednesday before the Board Meeting beginning with the May meeting.

Discussion and possible changes to the following ordinances:

  • Ordinance 28 – Little Yellow River Water Traffic. A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Shannon Vogele, to rescind this ordinance. Motion carried, 6-0.
  • Ordinance 47 – Outdoor and Refuse Burning. A motion was made by Roger Bean, seconded by Keith Korbein, to add the following to the end of Section 7.00 “, unless Wisconsin DNR’s burning permit Form 9400-196 has been officially issued for said matter, or unless the ground is completely snow-covered.” Motion carried, 6-0.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Shannon Vogele, to adjourn at 6:50 p.m. Motion carried 6-0.
