Present:                Commission Chair Shannon Vogele, Commissioners Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Gervase Thompson,

Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein  

Absent:                Mick McCormick

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at the Germantown Town Hall at 5:30 p.m.

Pledge

Possible approval of meeting minutes

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve the minutes from the January 15, 2020 meeting.  Motion carried 4-0.

Work session on zoning ordinance updates, including Vierbicher presentation  

Discussion continued regarding zoning ordinance updates.  Josh Langen from Vierbicher reviewed his updated Road Map for Discussion.  Then he presented his drafts of Sections 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, and 2.0 of the Zoning Ordinance.  Section 5.0 is a total re-write, and the other three are modified with strikethroughs for deletions and underlines for additions.  There are now very few referrals to other sections, making it easier to follow.

Josh will next work on the Definitions in Section 11, revisions for Ordinance 9, PUD Section 3.08, and Section 3.0 with tables. 

The town’s attorney will need to review any changes before any public hearing.

The next Planning Commission meeting is set for February 19, 2020 at 5:30pm.

Ken Jax made a motion, seconded by Keith Korbein, to adjourn at 6:48 p.m.  Motion carried 4-0.
