Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at the Germantown Town Hall at 5:30 p.m.
Stone Gate Lake Plats
There was a question on the size of Lot 121. It was explained that the lot size was changed due to a previous change to neighboring Lot 22.
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Ken Jax, to recommend to the town board approval of the Preliminary and Final Plats for the Seventh Addition to Stone Gate Lake. A roll call vote was taken: Vogele – Y, Jax – Y, Korbein – Y, Szymaszek – Y. Motion carried 4-0.
There was discussion about incorporating the zoning of mobile towers into the ordinance. A sample ordinance prepared by the Wisconsin Town’s Association was reviewed. Further information will need to be collected to see if it would be more appropriate to combine the mobile tower siting ordinance with the existing zoning ordinance or to have the mobile tower siting ordinance stand on its own.
A sample of a Mobile Tower siting Permit Application was reviewed and modified to correctly reflect the state statute requirements for such application.
Commission Member Comments
In reference to the Zoning Ordinance Ken Jax believes the portion containing the Pre-petition conference, Petition for General Development Plan, and Application of Specific Implementation Plan should be changed to make the process more streamlined.
