Joint Town Board and Planning Commission Public Hearing

Town of Germantown Town Hall

N7560 17th Avenue
New Lisbon, WI 53950
March 10, 2020
5:30 p.m.

At 5:30 pm, Board Chairman Gregg Haunroth opened the joint public hearing with the Pledge of Allegiance.  The joint public hearing with the Planning Commission and the Town Board then continued for public input on the addition of three adjoining parcels and the additional lots to Island Lake Planned Unit Development #19 by the applicant, Island Lake at Copper Point, LLC.  He turned the meeting over to Planning Commission Chairperson Shannon Armel.

Shannon asked Brad Pavloski, Pat Pavloski and Chris Renner of Island Lake at Copper Point, LLC. to review the information.  Chris spoke.  He pointed out the areas on the drawings presented that would be affected by adding the parcels and additional lots to PUD#19.  He said the density would not change, as they are adding land parcels to add more lots.

Question:  What are the plans for the long piece of land that extends to Hwy 58?  Answer:  Just green space.

Question:  There are two properties -a house and a log cabin.  What is happening with them?  Answer:  The one that really is not habitable -the land will be made part of the subdivision, and they will sell the other one.

Question:  Are there plans to put in a road from Hwy 58 to access the development?  Answer:  No.  The Planning Commission had asked previously to have that removed from their proposed plans.

Since there were no other questions or comments, Chairman Haunroth closed the public hearing at 5:40 pm.

Respectfully Submitted,

Michaele Korbein

Deputy Clerk/Treasurer
