Pledge

Possible approval of meeting minutes

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve the minutes from the February 19, 2020 meeting.  Motion carried 4-0.

Discussion and possible approval of changes of Island Lake PUD#19

Discussion highlights:  There are no plans to develop the long piece of land that extends to Hwy 58.  That would be a possibility only if more land next to it is added, but that doesn’t look like it would happen.  That land will not be a right-of-way.  Question: How does purchasing the long parcel of land affect Logs at Eagle Lake?  Answer:  It doesn’t, as most of the lots in Logs at Eagle Lake are CSM’s and it is not an official subdivision.  Gervase Thompson made a motion, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve the changes to Island Lake at Copper Point PUD#19, and to recommend approval of same to the Town Board.  Motion carried 4-0.

Work session on zoning ordinance updates

Josh Langen from Vierbicher will include a presentation on all the changes at the next Planning Commission meeting.  It was noted that Josh may have to incorporate pier info in the County’s ordinance into our zoning ordinance once the County has their ordinance approved by the State for shoreland zoning.

The next Planning Commission meeting will be April 15 at 5:30 pm.

Adjourn

Keith Korbein made a motion, seconded by Ken Jax, to adjourn at 6:00 p.m.  Motion carried 4-0.

Respectfully Submitted,

Michaele Korbein

Deputy Clerk/Treasurer
