Present: (all via Teams) Board Members Jim Murphy, Brad Pavloski, Randy Dorshorst, Rod Abbrederis, Jim Keene, Administrator Kathy Oliver, Kyra Cassidy, Jason Terry
Call to Order/Approve Agenda-
The meeting was called to order via Microsoft Teams at 9:02 AM and the agenda was approved by the board. With 5 board members present, we did have a quorum.
Approval of Minutes-
A motion was made by Brad Pavloski, seconded by Jim Keene to approve the minutes from the May 9, 2024 regular meeting with no changes or corrections. Motion carried with all in favor. A motion was made by Jim Keene, seconded by Brad Pavloski to approve the minutes from the May 20, 2024 Special Meeting with no changes or corrections. Motion carried with all in favor.
Discussion and Possible Action on Administrator’s Report –
-Financial Status Summary – Financial information was provided by Kathy Oliver, including bank account balances, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Our current members, Connected and Unconnected, total 1,384. We plan to address the budget for 2025 at out September 12, 2024 meeting. A motion was made by Jim Keene, with a second by Randy Dorshorst, to approve the Administrators Report. The motion carried with all in favor.
Discussion and Possible Action on WWTF Operations Update –
Jason Terry reported that avg influent flows was a little high in May/June.Probably due to higher than average precipitation. Effluent levels for copper, ammonia and phosphorus are in compliance. Major improvements continue with minimal adjustments to the chemical feed system. Operators are switching to Rare Earth in hopes lagoon biology will respond better.
Lagoon #1 Blower electrical drive motor has been returned onsite by LAI, and failed immediately upon start and was taken back to the shop. Waiting for updates.
Other report items included routine and non-routine connections and repairs to collection system and a valve box riser.
GIS Mapping of the new development off of Hwy G is completed and map updates are in progress.
