The motion carried with all in favor.
Discussion and Possible Action on WWTF Operations Update –
Jason Terry from MSA reported that treatment is looking very good. pH and alkalinity have stabilized. Lower seasonal flows allow more time in lagoon for treatment
Lift Station #1 new check and isolation valves have been installed. The isolation valved used to bypass is failed and allowed back-flow down to the lift station during the replacement work.
MSA is noticing several damaged curb stops in the new Sunset subdivision where the poly curb stops are being used. The marking posts are being removed and when damaged some repairs have been done by contractors without notifying the SD when damaged. The primary concern is knowing that they were repaired correctly to be able to address problems in the future. After some discussion on possible solutions, it was decided that MSA and Brad Pavloski will remind contractors to be more vigilant. For now, the MSA crew guys will try to be more vigilant with documenting concerns as they arise.
