Special Board Meeting Minutes

April 20, 2021

5:45 p.m.

Present:               Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Skip Barton, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. at the town hall.

Ordinance 60 Regulating Golf Carts

There was discussion on the definition of a low-speed vehicle. 

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve Ordinance 60 Regulating Golf Carts.  A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Feldman – Y, Jax – Y, Haunroth – Y.  Motion carried 5-0.

Ordinance 38 Regulating Fireworks

There was discussion on increased enforcement of the ordinance. 

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve Ordinance 38 Regulating Fireworks with the addition of a Severability notice at the end.  A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Feldman – N, Jax – Y, Haunroth – Y.  Motion carried 4-1.

Fee Schedule

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Ray Feldman to amend the fee schedule by adding $100 fee for each violation of Ordinance 60 and $100 up to $500 for first offence and $250 up to $1000 for each subsequent offence in violation of Ordinance 38.  A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Feldman – Y, Jax – Y, Haunroth – Y.  Motion carried 5-0.

Operator’s License

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve Operator’s Licenses for Randy Visgar, Kaylie Konsitzke, and Allison Wallace.  Motion carried 5-0.

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Gregg Haunroth, to approve an Operator’s License for Chloe Walsh-Laehn pending answer to questions raised by background check.  Motion carried 5-0.

Adjourn

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to adjourn at 6:15 p.m.  Motion carried 5-.0
