Present:               Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Skip Barton, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray                                                     Feldman, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy                                Clerk Treasurer Michaele Korbein

 

Absent:                Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs, Assistant Emergency Management                                   Director Christopher Leopold

 

Call to Order 

The meeting was called to order at the town hall at 5:30 p.m.

 

Introduction of New Deputy 

Sheriff’s Deputy Adam Morris was introduced as the new Town of Germantown Liaison.

 

Minutes 

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the minutes from March’s meeting.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Treasurer’s Report/Bank Reconciliation 

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the reports as read.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Checks 

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve checks 11949-12006 totaling $48,908.25 and EFT’s totaling $5,724.17.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Resolution 2020-2 Amending the 2020 Budget 

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve Budget Resolution 2020-2.  A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Island Lake Revisions 

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve changes to Island Lake PUD #19 as shown on the provided legal description and Certified Survey Map.   A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Resolution 2020-3 For Outdoor Recreation Grant Applications 

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Ken Jax, to approve Resolution 2020-3 for Outdoor Recreation Grant Applications.  A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Emergency Management 

No Report

 

Roads 

Hot Mix work will be done on 15th-16th.  Chip Sealing will be done on Zielinski, Wally’s Way, Raven Drive.  Crack filling will be done on Clearwater Drive.  An advertisement for bids is in the paper. 

A loader/backhoe is available for purchase.  Dick Martin will have it appraised and inspected to see if it would be a good purchase.  Currently the town rents this equipment on an as need basis.

 

Zoning

3 permits, no new houses.

 

Park

Letters of support have been received for the park project.  A public hearing has been scheduled for May 26.  Juneau County will need to accept the plan prior to grant money being applied for.

 

Board Reports 

Gregg Haunroth – Potential for some work being done to the hall to better facilitate elections.  Details to       come.

Ray Feldman – County level committee meetings are happening with the permission of the health                  department.  Social distancing is still required.

Keith Korbein – Received positive feedback from the public on the conducting of the April election. 

Ken Jax – Is reviewing the Employee Handbook, would like to have employee reviews conducted.
