Town Officials Present:  Chairman William Jax, Supervisors Rosetta Boyle, Steve Gillespie, Michael Poe, & Dave Specht
Town Officials Absent:  None
Others Present:  Clerk/Treasurer: Betty Manson, EM Director Fred Cobbs

Call Meeting to Order
Jax called the special board meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance
Pledge of Allengiance was recited by all present.

Verification of Proper Posting:
Manson verified that this meeting had been properly posted at 4 locations within the Township.

Town Public Works Building – Approve Advertisement and Letting Bids
After reviewing the advertisement of bids and time line for the proposed maintenance building/salt storage shed, Motion was made by Poe that the Town Board approve ads and letting bids for Town maintenance building and salt/sand storage building, bidding for four prime contracts or a general contract only based on recommendation of architect. Final approved of project would be subject to a Public Hearing and either Town Board or special Town Meeting approval pending advice of attorney, 2nd by Specht. Poe commented that the dumb waiter possibly could cost more than expected and would like to consider the dumb waiter as an alternate or future item on the specs.  Motion Carried.

Discuss and Possible Purchase of Fork Lift
After being discussed, the possible purchased of a fork lift will be looked into at a later date.

Discuss and Possible Approval of Scott’s Construction Proposal for 37th Street and Sunny Lane
Poe stated that Scott’s construction has proposed 1000′ x 20′ single bar for Sunny Lane and 6,000′ x 4′ heavy bar seal on 37th. Motion was made by Jax to do 37th for a total cost of $3,425.00, 2nd by Specht. Motion Carried.

“No Parking” and “Directional” Sign for Public Parking on 15th Avenue Boat Landing North of Little Yellow River
Specht stated that at the last Planning Commission Meeting, it was recommended that signs are needed at the 15th Avenue Boar landing (north of Little Yellow River) Motion was made by Specht to erect the following sings: “No Parking between signs with directional arrows”, “No Parking” near the boat landing, “Public Parking for vehicles with trailers”, and a “boat turnaround” sign, 2nd by Poe, Motion Carried

Disposal of Town Hall/Community Center Tables
Motion was made by Gillespie to sell the used town hall/community center tables for $5.00 – “Cash and Carry, keepting the best 4”, 2nd by Jax, Motion Carried.

Adjourn Meeting
Motion was made by Specht to adjourn the special town board meeting at 6:20 p.m., 2nd by Boyle, Motion Carried.

Chairman Jax declared the special town board meeting adjourned.
