Present: Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Skip Barton, Ken Jax, Keith Korbein, Emergency Management Director, Fred Cobbs, Asst. Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Clerk/Treasurer, Susan Ganther
Absent: Supervisor Ray Feldman
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order in the town hall at 6:00 p.m.
Minutes
A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Ken Jax to approve the minutes from the November meetings. Motion carried 4-0.
Treasurer’s Report
Monthly financial information was provided. A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the Treasurer’s report. Motion carried 4-0.
Checks
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve checks 10245 and 10455-10500 totaling $24,125.95. Motion carried 4-0.
Operator’s License
None
Beach Lake PUD
Tabled to a future date.
Poll Workers
A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the appointment of Elyane Heintz, Leilani Launderville, Wendy Bruce, Lynne Domask, Rosie Balsiger, Sandy Kriese, Karen Caple
Keith Walker, Linda Walker, Jim Keene, Michaele Korbein and Susan Ganther as poll workers for the 2018-2018 election cycle. Motion carried 4-0.
Necedah Fire Contract
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Ken Jax, to approve the 2018 Necedah Fire Contract with a correction of 2017 dates being adjusted by Necedah Fire Department to 2018 dates. A roll call vote was taken: Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y. Motion carried 4-0.
Emergency Management
For November: 10 Ambulance calls, 36 police calls, 0 fire calls
The County board was approached about placing an addition $.50 charge per night to rented campsites in the county park to be used to support emergency services.
Mauston Ambulance has purchased a 2014 ambulance to replace an aging rig. The new ambulance is minimal miles on it and was purchased at an excellent price.
It is still planned that a CPR class will be held at the town hall some time in 2018.
Road Report
Plowing was done for the first snowfall of the year.
There is still work being done to move forward with Buckhorn Acres roads. The next step will be a public hearing.
Parks/Hall
People are asked to consider becoming part of a committee that will explore options for walking/biking paths.

Zoning
4 permits were issued in November 3 were for new homes. Permits for 44 new homes were issued so far in 2017.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to adjourn at 6:25. Motion carried 4-0.
