Regular Meeting Minutes as corrected

Present: Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Ken Jax, Tamaya Loewe, Ray Feldman, Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold, Public Works Director Craig Cox, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther
Absent: Supervisor Keith Korbein, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at the town hall at 6:00 p.m.
Posting
Proper posting was verified by Susan Ganther.
Minutes
A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Tamaya Loewe to approve the minutes from November’s meeting. Motion carried 4-0.
Bank Reconciliation
The bank reconciliation was read aloud and placed on file for audit.
Checks
A motion was made by Tamaya Loewe, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve general fund checks 15021-15060 totaling $53,254.40, municipal court check 2022 totaling $27.50 and EFTs totaling $6,087.05. Motion carried 4-0.

Emergency Operation Plan
A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Tamaya Loewe, to approve the updated Emergency Operations Plan. A roll call vote was taken: Loewe – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 4-0.
Poll Worker Appointment
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Ken Jax, to approve the list of poll workers as presented. A roll call vote was taken: Loewe – A, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 3-0.
Resolution 2025-8 Amending the 2025 Budget
A motion was made by Tamaya Loewe, seconded by Ken Jax, to approve resolution 2025-8 Amending the 2025 Budget. A roll call vote was taken: Loewe – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 4-0.
Necedah Fire and Rescue Contract
A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Tamaya Loewe, to approve the 2026 Necedah Fire and Rescue contract. A roll call vote was taken: Loewe – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 4-0.
2026 Budget
A motion was made by Tamaya Loewe, seconded by Ken Jax to approve the 2026 budget. A roll call vote was taken: Loewe – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 4-0.
Hall Rentals
A quote for repairs to the was that was damaged by a renter’s use of thumb tacks was received. The renter will be billed the difference between the deposit they made and the amount of the quote. The rental agreement will be amended to state that the person signing the agreement must always be present during the time of event.
Emergency Management
No report.
Roads
The brush dump is currently closed for grinding.
The road plowing policy is in the process of being updated.
Zoning
1 permit was issued. It was for a new home.
Parks
No report.
Board Reports
Tamaya Loewe – Wisconsin has received another round of money for broadband. The Town of Germantown should receive benefit from that.
Ken Jax- Road crews are doing well maintaining roads.
Public Comment
There was a question about private plow operators plowing driveways across streets. Discussion was had about snow plowing difficulties and how snow should not be plowed to the center of cul de sacs. It was stated that there are state laws governing plowing across roadways.

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Tamaya Loewe, to go into closed session. A roll call vote was taken: Loewe – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 4-0.
