MINUTES

Present:               Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Ken Jax, Keith Korbein, Ray Feldman, Skip Barton, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Assistant Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

Absent:                Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs

 

Call to Order

The virtual meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

 

Minutes

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the minutes from January’s meetings.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Treasurer’s Report

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the Treasurer’s Report.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Bank Reconciliation

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the Bank Reconciliation.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Checks

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve checks 12432-12450 totaling $249,540.62 and EFT’s totaling $5,616.74.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Operator’s License

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve an Operator’s License for Cassandra DeLapp.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Rate Increase

The Board was made aware of notification received from the Sheriff’s Department of a Deputy rate increase from $41.25 to $42.36 per hour and a decrease in mileage from 57.5 cents per mile to 56.0 cents per mile. 

 

Brickl Quote

A quote for a door expansion on the storage shed was received.  This subject is being tabled until further information is received.

 

Public Safety

Mauston Ambulance is asking that a larger area be plowed by the Public Works building to allow for helicopter landing space. 

They are also asking that everyone should have their driveways properly plowed to allow access by emergency vehicles.  If the driveway is not plowed people should tell the 911 operator so a plow can be sent along with emergency vehicles.

Vaccines are available to those over age 65.  Please get vaccinated.

 

Roads

No Report

 

Zoning

4 permits issued in January.  All were for new houses.

 

Board Reports

Gregg Haunroth – Plans are being made for a meeting regarding parks in March.

All Supervisors  agreed that the road crew is doing a good job with snow removal.
