Present:               Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Skip Barton, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Asst. Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

Absent:                Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs

 

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 at the town hall.

 

Minutes

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the minutes from June’s meetings.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Bank Reconciliation/Treasurer’s Report

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the bank reconciliation and Treasurer’s Report.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Checks

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve checks 12601-12656 totaling 132,533.72, check 5001 totaling $10,400.28 and EFTs totaling $5,348.53.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Sanitary District

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Ken Jax, to approve the addition of parcel 290121417 with the potential of 78 hookups to Sanitary District 2.  A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Temporary License

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve a temporary beer license for the 40 et 8.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Operator’s Licenses

A motion was made by Kieth Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve Operator’s Licenses for William Bomber, Lauren Woggon and Erica Woodruff.  Motion carried 5-0.

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Keith Korbein, to deny an Operator’s License for Scott Hogan pending clarification of information from application.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Zoning/Land Use Ordinance

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve updates to the Zoning Ordinance and Land Use Ordinance.  A roll call vote was taken:  Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Emergency Management

A special needs form will go into the tax bills.

Mauston Ambulance had new President and Vice President elected.

Mauston Ambulance is working with Juneau County dispatch regarding emergency helicopter service.

 

Roads

Scott Construction should start road work next week.

 

Zoning

8 Permits issued. 7 for new homes.

 

Parks/Buildings

The garage door was fixed on the public works building.  The door expansion on the storage building has made the building much more functional.

 

Board Reports

Ken Jax – No decline in fireworks this 4th of July.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to adjourn at 6:20 p.m.  Motion carried 5-0.
