Committee Reports:

Public Safety/Emergency Management

Medicare did evaluation inspections on both ambulance locations.

Germantown will need to file the M.O.E.’s received from MAAA, NL Fire and Necedah Fire on a yearly basis going forward to qualify for and receive aid to municipalities for some emergency services.

Total ambulance calls in May were 235; averaging 6.5 calls/day which is up from the 2.5 calls/day.

Many calls this year are very serious and affect crews; so internal processes are available to talk to and work with the crews.

Work is being done to move toward having a second truck in Necedah by January 1 for better coverage.

Chris Leopold is doing education for a program to offer more care for injured K-9s through guidance from their medical director

Roads

Bids were favorable.

Sealcoat is done and look good.

Crackfill will be done in the fall.

Ditches will be mowed over the next three weeks.

Zoning

13 permits were issued in May.  8 were for new houses.

There have been 28 new home permits issued this year to date.

Park/Town Hall

The old park bathrooms are done.

A quote from Docking Solutions was received for repair of piers damaged in one of the storms.

Board Reports

Tamaya Loewe                 No report

Keith Korbein                    Attended both open houses and the Culvers Share Night for the MAAA.

Asked everyone to support MAAA; keep their crews in your thoughts.

Ken Jax                                 Already mentioned the pier damage.

Ray Feldman                    Questioned if the boat patrol was starting again.

Public Comment  –None.
