June 20, 2024

Present:              Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Tamaya Loewe, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele

Absent:                Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther,

Chairman Gregg Haunroth opened the Special Town Board Meeting at 7:01pm.

Discussion on pier damage and possible action

Discussed whether or not to make an insurance claim for the dock damage, or pay the repairs out of pocket.  Deductible is $1000.  Repair bill is $3676.76.  Dock was repaired. 

Question of how the insurance has the docks listed in the policy, and if this damage would even be covered.  Questioned if queries were made, would that in itself cause the insurance rate to go up.  New insurance company.  Only had one claim with previous company in recent years, so may not affect it at all.  Budget consideration if paid completely by the town.  Ray Feldman made a motion to pay the whole dock repair bill from Docking Solutions out of pocket, seconded by Tamaya Loewe.  Motion pasased 5/0.

Adjourn

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Keith Korbein, to adjourn at 7:11 p.m.  Motion

carried 5-0.
