Present:               Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Skip Barton, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray                                                     Feldman, EM Director Fred Cobbs, Assistant EM Director Christopher Leopold,                                                   Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein

 

Absent:                Zoning Administrator Dick Martin

 

Call to Order 

The meeting was called to order at 5:39 p.m. at the town hall following a public hearing.

 

Minutes 

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the February meeting minutes.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Bank Reconcilement/Treasurer’s Report 

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the bank reconciliation and Treasurer’s Report.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Checks/Voucher 

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton to approve 11899-11914 totaling $67,607.17 and EFT’s totaling $6,073.88.  Motion carried 5-0.

 

Grant Writing 

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton, to hire MSA to write a grant for park funding.

 

Emergency Management 

CPR classes are being scheduled for employees through Mauston Ambulance.

Fred Cobbs watched a webinar related to natural gas emergencies.

It will soon be time to have the radios updated to WISCOM.  County Emergency Management Director, Gervase Thompson, offered to have the Town’s radios done along with the County’s saving the Town the cost of having it done.

 

Roads 

Road bans are going onto County roads on March 11.  The Town will follow suit with town roads.

 

Zoning 

3 permits have been issued. 0 for new homes.

 

Board Reports 

Gregg Haunroth reported that the new Deputy assigned to the Town will begin training on April 1.

 

Public Comment 

None

 

Park Master Plan 

A representative from MSA provided information on the master park plan.  It was discussed that the park would be done in phases that are to be determined.  5

0/50 grants will be applied for. 

Impact fees are eligible to use.

Additional suggestions by those present will be considered and possibly incorporated into the plan.

Brad Pavloski will donate 2 prefabricated bathroom buildings therefore reducing that expense from the overall cost.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to adjourn at 7:10 p.m.  Motion carried 5-0.
