Minutes
Present: Supervisors Tamaya Loewe, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein
Absent: Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at the town hall at 6:01 p.m.
Verification of Posting
Posting in regular posting locations was verified.
Road Bids
The road bids were opened and read aloud. A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Keith Korbein to conduct a review of the bids and accept the one most advantageous to the town. Motion carried 4-0.
Minutes
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve the minutes from April’s meetings. Motion carried 4-0.
Bank Reconciliation
The reconciliation was read and placed on file for the audit.
Checks
A motion was made by Tamaya Loewe, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve general fund checks 14143-14191 totaling $56,236.35, municipal court check 2016 totaling $19.00, and tax account checks 1575-1576 totaling $2,114.55. Motion carried 4-0.
Preliminary and Final Plats of First Addition to Sunset Lake at Sand Point Lake
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Ray Feldman, to approve the preliminary and final plats of the first addition to Sunset Lake at Sand Point Lake. Motion carried 4-0.
Operator’s License
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Tamaya Loewe, to approve an operator’s license for Nicole Raese. Motion carried 4-0.
Public Safety
May 19-25 is EMS Week. There will be open houses at the Mauston ambulance stations in Mauston and Necedah. Mauston Ambulance will also have a share night at Culvers on May 23rd from 5-8 p.m.
Roads
Road work is expected to start at the end of June or early July.
Zoning
13 permits were issued in April. 8 were for new houses. There have been 20 new home permits issued this year to date.
Park/Town Hall
The old park bathrooms are done except for new locks on the doors.

Ken Jax Attended the Wisconsin Town’s Association unit meeting. Also in attendance were Juneau County’s new state representatives.

Public Comment
Question about a traffic cone on Castaway Drive. This was placed by the Sanitary District over
valve cover that needs to be replaced.
Question on the effect of continued building on the water table. It was explained that it is
monitored by the DNR and a part of any new PUD applied for.
Question about how operation of the brush dump is going. It has had a lot of activity. Passes are
being purchased daily. Having Larry work there has been a benefit.

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Ray Feldman, to adjourn at 6:45 p.m. Motion
carried 4-0.
