Joint Planning Commission and Town Board Public Hearing Minutes

Present: Town Board Chairperson Gregg Haunroth, Commission Chairperson and Town Board Supervisor Keith Korbein, Commissioner and Town Board Supervisor Tamaya Loewe, Commissioner Mike Edwards, Town Board Supervisor Ray Feldman, Town Board Supervisor Ken Jax, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein 

Also present: 13 members of the public

 

–Call to Order

The joint Planning Commission and Town Board public hearing was called to order at the Town of Germantown Town Hall by Town Board Chairperson Gregg Haunroth. He turned it over to Supervisor and Commission Chairperson Keith Korbein, who presented the meeting for public input on a short term rental ordinance and a room tax ordinance.

There were seven emailed public comments that were previously provided to the Board and the Commission, of which one was present and did speak. Two others present also spoke. Comments included support for both ordinances, concerns over grandfathering, and thoughts on the room tax rate and collection. 

After hearing no other comments, the public hearing was closed at adjourned at 5:43 p.m.
