Town Officials Present: Chairman William Jax, Supervisors Rosetta Boyle, Michael Poe, and Dave Specht.
Town Officials Absent: Steve Gillespie
Others Present: Clerk/Treasurer Betty Manson, Assistant Clerk/Treasurer Marion Uphoff and approximately 22 guests.

 

The Town Board of the Town of Germantown will hold a public hearing for Sanitary District #1 Expansion of 40 acres – Legal Description: 17-017-004 SW 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 17, 40 acres

Jax opened the public hearing at 12:00 p.m. Jax asked for questions or comments.

Joe Morro questioned how often the sanitary district is checked and was told that it would be rebuilt by Juneau County. Boyle stated that Juneau County is not involved with the sanitary district at all and is owned by O’Dells Sanitary District and is run by a Board of Directors. Boyle also stated that MSA is in charge of the maintenance. Poe stated that it is being expanded with money from reserves. Boyle stated that the sanitary district has received a permit for expansion and renovation and the DNR has approved.

There being no more discussion, Motion by Boyle to close the public hearing at 12:05 p.m., 2nd by Poe. Motion Carried.

Public Hearing Closed.
