Present:               Chairman Rosetta Boyle, Supervisors Dale Simonson, Jim Collis, Ray Feldman,

 Absent:               Supervisor Gregg Haunroth,

 Also Present:     Zoning Administrator Bill Bruce, Clerk/Treasurer Marion Uphoff, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Town Officer Cameron McChesney

 

Meeting was called to order in the Town of Germantown at 7:00 p.m.

 

Motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson to accept the minutes from the October 8, 2013 meeting. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson to accept the Treasurer’s report and bank reconciliation. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Jim Collis to accept Operator’s License applications from Amber Campbell, Matt Weix, and Erika Cattle. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Jim Collis to accept Resolution 2013-3 and Ordinance 52 to join the Mauston Area Municipal Court. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Jim Collis to accept Ordinance 53 Relating to Regulation of Nonmetallic Mining. Motion carried.

 

A date of December 10, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. was set for a public hearing regarding the joining of Sanitary District 1 and Sanitary District 2.

 

A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Ray Feldman to facilitate Special Assessments for Buckhorn Acres and Morro’s Mile. Motion carried with Dale Simonson abstaining.

 

A motion was made by Dale Simonson, seconded by Ray Feldman to approve a raise in the amount collected for Special Assessment Letters from $5 to $25. Motion carried.

 

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 

The Public Safety Committee is still working with multiple agencies to obtain paramedic ambulance service. More information will be provided at the November 19 Special Town Meeting.

 

ROADS 

Jeff Keating reported that work on our new plow truck has not been completed. The County has stated they will rent a plow truck to the Town if needed.

 

PARKS 

No Report

 

BOARD REPORTS 

Due to the absence of Gregg Haunroth an updates on the 15th Street boat ramp and an outdoor noise agreement will not be presented until next month’s meeting.

 

ZONING ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT/BUILDING PERMITS 

10 permits were issued since the last meeting. 3 were for new homes.

 

VOUCHERS 

A motion was made by Jim Collis, seconded by Dale Simonson to approve checks and vouchers 17041-17073 totaling $18,762.37 and EFTs totaling $8,413.36. Motion carried.

 

PUBLIC COMMENT 

A member of the public asked that street lights on Clearwater be looked at as they shine into people’s homes on the back side of that street.
