Present: Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Skip Barton, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs, Assistant Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein
Absent: None
The meeting was called to order at 5:34 p.m. at the town hall.
Minutes
A motion was made by Barton, seconded by Korbein, to approve the minutes from the October regular monthly meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
Bank Reconciliation and Checks
A motion was made by Korbein, seconded by Barton, to accept the bank reconciliation, and approve checks 11672-11719 totaling $53,952.72 and EFTs totaling $4,702.97. Motion carried 5-0.
Operator’s License
A background check was conducted, and servers class certificate presented. A motion was made by Feldman, seconded by Jax, to approve an operator’s license for Karlynn Rihn. Motion carried 5-0.
ATV Routes
The ATV Club has asked for support in their request to the county to open ATV routes on Hwy G (Germantown G) from State Hwy 58 to Godfrey Drive, and State Highway 58 from 37th to Hwy G (Buckhorn G).
A motion was made by Korbein, seconded by Jax to provide a letter of support to the ATV Club. Motion carried 5-0.
Resolution 2019-8 Budget Amendment
A motion was made by Barton, seconded by Korbein, to approve Budget Resolution 2019-8 amending the 2019 budget. A roll call vote was taken: Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y. Motion carried 5-0.
Road Construction Financing
A motion was made by Korbein, seconded by Barton, to finance the 37th Street road construction project through the Bank of Mauston. Motion carried 5-0.
Emergency Management
No report.
Roads
Road work is done for the year.
Water around 16th has gone down some. Work is being done to trap and remove the beavers so the dams can be destroyed to help further improve the water conditions.
MSA is working on a 90/10 grant to fix the roads in Castle Rock Estates.
Parks
The master park plan is being work on by MSA.
MSA is also working on obtaining a grant for a potential walking/bike trail.
Board Reports
Korbein: At the Wisconsin Town’s Association meeting there was a big push to make sure towns took advantage of the money available through the 90/10 grant money available.
Haunroth: Attended a meeting with Sanitary District leaders and Juneau County Zoning about septic systems on/near Castle Rock Lake.
Zoning/Permits
12 permits were issued in October. 10 were for new homes.
