Present: Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Skip Barton, Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Ray Feldman, Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Assistant Emergency Management Director Christopher Leopold, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther
Absent: Emergency Management Director Fred Cobbs

Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at the town hall at 6:00 p.m.

Minutes
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton to approve the August meeting minutes.  Motion carried 5-0.

Treasurer’s Report
Financial information was provided, and a motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the Treasurer’s report.  Motion carried 5-0.

Checks
A motion was made by Ray Feldman, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve checks 10941-10988 totaling $157,190.77 and EFTs totaling $5,047.15.  Motion carried 5-0.

Operator’s License
None

Temporary Culvert
Pavloski Development asked to be allowed to place a temporary culvert on 32nd Avenue to help gather information on water levels between Island Lake and Campfire Lake prior to placing the permanent culvert which was previously approved.  The culvert would have to be placed and the road at the work site paved prior to winter.  Pavloski’s would also be responsible for detour and road closed signs during the time of construction.  A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Keith Korbein, to approve the placement of a temporary culvert.  Motion carried 5-0.

Land Donation
A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept a donation of land which includes portions of parcel 290122262.249 to allow for the completion of roads in Buckhorn Acres.  A roll call vote was taken. Barton – Y, Korbein – Y, Haunroth – Y, Jax – Y, Feldman – Y.

Emergency Management
No report.

Roads
Shouldering of the roads in Buckhorn Acres has been completed.  Street and speed limit signs have been put up.

During the heavy rains a covert failed on 20th Street.  It will be replaced once the water goes down.

Gerke’s submitted a bid for gravel for the 37th Street road project.  The bid was $125,575.60.  Dick Martin confirmed that it was a fair bid.  A decision to accept the bid will be made at the October board meeting.

Parks
Plans are being looked at for the improvement of landscaping outside the town hall.

Board Reports
Gregg Haunroth asked Ray Feldman to keep in apprized of any meetings at the county level regarding their walking path plans.  Gregg would like to attend to see how Germantown could be a part of the path system.

Zoning/Permits
Five permits were issued in August.  2 for new homes.  23 new homes in 2018.

Public Comment
Brad Pavloski –   A contract is being negotiated to place a cell phone tower in the Town of Clearfield which will greatly improve cell service.

A motion was made by Skip Barton, seconded by Keith Korbein, to adjourn at 6:18 p.m.  Motion carried 5-0.
