Present:               Chairman Gregg Haunroth, Supervisors Keith Korbein, Ken Jax, Skip Barton,  Zoning Administrator Dick Martin, Assistant EM Director Christopher Leopold, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Michaele Korbein 

Absent:                Supervisor Ray Feldman, EM Director Fred Cobbs, Clerk/Treasurer Susan Ganther

 

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at the town hall at 6:00 p.m.

Approve Agenda in any order

 

Minutes

Last month’s vouchers listed the correct total of payments; however, last voucher number listed was 12171 and should have been 12172 as per the report -the checks were just out of sequential order.  A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve the August meeting minutes with the correction that the last voucher number should be 12172 instead of 12171.  Motion carried 4-0.

 

Bank Reconciliation and Treasurer’s Report

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to accept the Treasurer’s Report and Bank Reconciliation as read.  Motion carried 4-0.

 

Checks

A motion was made by Keith Korbein, seconded by Skip Barton, to approve vouchers and checks 12173-12217 totaling $170,043.45 and EFT’s totaling $5,118.22.  Motion carried 4-0.

 

Possible approval of Operator’s License applications.

No applications at this time.

 

Discussion and possible approval of Resolution 2020-7 Amending the 2020 Budget

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Skip Barton to approve Resolution 2020-7 Amending the 2020 Budget. A roll call vote was taken:  Jax – Y, Haunroth – Y, Barton – Y, Korbein – Y.  Motion carried 4-0.

 

Discussion and possible approval of 10th Addition to Island Lake at Copper Point

This addition is for 25 lots and 3 outlots.  There are no changes from original PUD.  Skip Barton made a motion to approve the 10th Addition to Island Lake at Copper Point, seconded by Keith Korbein.  Motion carried 4-0.  

 

Discussion on appeal of impact fees and possible setting of date for future meeting

A meeting will be scheduled as soon as a date can be agreed on.

Discussion and possible approval of purchase and installation of drop box

The bid received was part of a combined bid with the kitchen remodel; costs were not broken down for each.  This will be placed back on the agenda for a next meeting.

 

Review of bid for kitchen remodel to accommodate elections

The bid received was part of a combined bid with for the drop box installation; costs were not broken down for each.  Also, per the agenda, only a review of the kitchen remodel bid could be done so a decision could not be made.  This will be placed back on the agenda for a next meeting.

 

Public Safety/Emergency Management

Ambulance budget work has started, with budget approval to be later in September.

 

Roads

The 2020 bid projects are completed, along with extra gravel on 17th

The culverts worked when there was 10+” rain two weeks ago. 

 

Zoning

Nothing reported.

 

Parks/Town Hall/Buildings

MSA has not reported back regarding the awarding of grant money yet.

The Town’s fire rating has not changed.

 

Board Reports

Jax – will be registering for the online WI Towns Association meeting.

A motion was made by Ken Jax, seconded by Keith Korbein, to adjourn at 6:21 p.m.  Motion carried 4-0.
